Watch Battery Tester BT-3A
This machine not only operates as a battery tester for 1.5V and 3V button batteries, but can also test power for watch batteries before you open them. If it is low battery, the machine will make a sound with lighting, which doesn't keep in synchronism with the watch. These all will warn a customer in advance that their watch requires a new battery.
If a quartz watch requires a new battery or is broken and needs to be repaired, you can find it out with this tester before opening the watchcase. This tester can check mechanical defects and shortage of voltage level. The tester is effective to test 1.55V silver oxidized as well as 3V lithium battery, mercury and alkaline button batteries.
While testing the watch battery, put the watch on the circle which is in the middle of the machine. Push the WATCH TEST button, and then the machine starts to work. The green LED will flash with rotation frequency of different watch movement. Meanwhile the inside buzzer will make a dripping sound. The time interval depends on the watch movement, such as 1s\5s\10s\20s\30s or 60s. To save power, the WATCH TESTER should be loosened when you don't use the machine.
When you want to test the accurate battery power, you can just slide the switch on the right to the tap position you need (1.55V or 3.0V). Put the button battery on the appropriative test place. The anode side of the battery faces with the "+" on the test place, and then press the cathode shrapnel contact with the cathode side of the battery. The power indicated by the machine is the exactly power of the battery. If the needle is in the green area, it means the battery can be used, while if the needle is in the red area, it means the battery needs to be replaced.
The machine is powered by 1 inside button battery,12V,23AE. If the green indicating lamp has gone, it means the inside batteries need to be replaced.
